Bike Walk Bus Week, Missoula
The 21st Annual Bike Walk Bus Week will be held April 28 – May 5, 2012. Bike Walk Bus Week is an annual celebration of healthy transportation in Missoula, Montana. Coordinated by the City of Missoula Bicycle Pedestrian Program, Bike Walk Bus Week offers more than a hundred events sponsored by businesses, schools and community organizations. - Go to any of the sponsors and let them know how much you appreciated their involvement in 2011. Offer to help them in 2012.
- Dream up an event to organize for 2012, and then plan to organize it. It can be something for just an hour (like a neighborhood walk), or something all week long. Coordinate with the City Bicycle Pedestrian Office.
- Want to really start something new? Put together an event in the fall to encourage biking, walking, and riding the bus.
